Cierra Peters

Cierra is an imaginative choreographer who has pushed the limits of competition dance through her intricate, energetic choreography. With seven years of experience, Cierra has choreographed for some of the premier collegiate, high school, and All-Star dance teams in the nation. Her routines have been highlighted at the University of Iowa, Dancin’ with Roxie Studio (DWR), and Archbishop Highschool. Cierra led Clovis West Highschool to a national championship in 2024 and her work with DWR awarded them a Bronze at The Dance Worlds in 2024.

Her work also extends internationally. In 2021, Cierra choreographed for Zvedzy Club representing Team Russia, and the team received a silver medal at the European ICU Championships.

A former member and Captain of the Utah Valley University Dance Team (UVU), Cierra and her team received 6 national titles. In 2019, the UVU Dance Team received a Gold medal while representing the United States of America at the ICU World Championships.

Cierra’s experience as both a competitor and choreographer has honed her ability to motivate dancers to expand their skillsets and play into their unique strengths.

Her commitment to collaboration led the Davis High Dettes to a top five finish at the Utah State Drill Competition in 2024, and her work with Brio Studios led their Youth Large Jazz Group to a first-place finish at The Summit Championship in 2024.

Cierra’s dedication is shown throughout her master classes, intensives, and consulting sessions, where she influences dancers to increase their drive and motivation for the sport. Her choreography stands out in the competition dance realm for its emotional storytelling and athleticism.
